Ahmedabad or lovingly called as 'Amdavad' is multi-faceted, replete with tempting varieties in cultural traditions, destinations, cuisines and of course, festivals. This old city lies on the eastern side of Sabarmati River and initially, it used to be surrounded by a 10 km long wall, very little of which can be seen now.
