Corbett National ParkCorbett National Park: Oldest National Park in India

Situated in Nainital district in Uttarakhand, Corbett National Park was established in 1936. Initially, it was summoned as the Hailey National Park in Uttarakhand. It was established to protect the endangered population of Bengal tigers. It has also developed as an eco-tourism destination in India. Adventure lovers, wildlife enthusiasts and tourists from different parts of the world visit the park to explore the diverse wildlife and splendid landscapes. The current name of the park is after Jim Corbett, the renowned hunter and conservationist who played an important role in establishing this national park. It has now emerged as an internationally recognised wildlife sanctuary and a popular destination for spotting the Royal Bengal Tiger in India.

Indulging in Corbett National Park Travel lets you explore 488 different species of plants. Even the rich animal variety includes Nilgai, Gharial, Shambar Deer, Tigers, Chitals and wild elephants.
